AN EXCLUSIVE NETWORKING EVENT FOR PROMINENT LEADERS IN SWEDISH-AMERICAN BUSINESS

The Swedish-American Chambers of Commerce of the United States of America (SACC-USA) cordially invites you to our flagship event, the Executive Forum on May 24, 2018 in Washington, D.C. The event will be held in collaboration with the Embassy of Sweden.

The Executive Forum will focus on business opportunities in the Age of Disruption – the current era of sweeping changes brought about by innovation and technology. The event will also analyze the Trump Administration’s business agenda and provide insights into what the future will bring.

Sweden is high on the agenda in Washington, D.C. as this year marks 200 years of diplomatic relations between the United States and Sweden. This historic occasion will be commemorated during the day. The Executive Forum will feature top-level business and government representatives from both countries, including the Honorable Johnny Isakson, U.S. Senator.

The Executive Forum will include panels and round table discussions with government representatives, executives, political experts, and other stakeholders. The event will be conducted under the Chatham House Rules to encourage openness and information sharing. To conclude the day, a cocktail and dinner buffet reception will be hosted by H.E. Karin Olofsdotter, Ambassador of Sweden to the United States.

Looking to the future, technologies such as AI and robotics could potentially displace up to 38 % of U.S. jobs over the next 15 years. In this panel, we will discuss how to attract and create the right skills for the future.

In this debate, political commentators will give their views on the upcoming midterm elections and what business leaders and change agents can expect for the future.
