What Object Represents How You Work?

This exercise from our “Upgrade Your Online Meetings” workshop encourages participants to break out of the box and find a new format for facilitating online meetings. Watch the video above for a detailed explanation from session leader Suzi Hamill, former Head of Design Thinking at Fidelity Investments.

Take two minutes to find an object in your house that represents how you have adapted the way that you work now that you are remote. (For example, Hamill shows books that she has stacked in order to raise her monitor into a standing desk.)

After everyone finds their object, take two minutes each to explain what your object means and what you learned about your new work situation. Moving around drives engagement and excitement, and brings a new personal aspect to meetings.
