I have always found April a difficult month. It seems to be the defining month for transition between winter and summer. It can fool us on the first day ( April fools day ) and its weather for us in Europe does exactly the same, usually all month long. One where it is offering up a healthy mix of rain, stronger sun, a little flurry of snow and some heavy wind too.

I hope you’re enjoying our new website! Like all house projects this has been a labour of love, squeezed in amongst paying business, but it has been an enjoyable ride. Our old site had grown organically over the past 6 years and had started to creak. I guess it’s the same for most sites out there; they grow more like towns than buildings.

PC Sales drop >10% Q1 2016. Surprised? Do You Care?

Leading tech tracking companies IDC and Gartner both announced Q1, 2016 PC sales results, and they were horrible. Sales were down 9.5%-11.5% depending on which tracker you asked. And that’s after a horrible Q4, 2015 when sales were off more than 10%. PC sales have now declined for 6 straight quarters, and sales are roughly where they were in 2007 , 9 years ago.
