Adaptation is the siren song of the innovator and it tells of how when confronted, we are are able to change and make something new.

A new year - indeed a new decade - has many of us thinking about new beginnings or in some cases, starting over.

Our work life is nothing but confrontations and interruptions. Emails, phone calls, meetings, administration.

As leaders we can endeavor to make the workday experience a little bit easier by removing barriers and reducing interruptions so that it's easier for our employees to get started. Adaptation is the siren song

In an article about the future of work for CMSWire, Dan Hushon points to interconnectedness as critical to unlocking potential.

"Teams are the new superstars," Hushon writes.

"They champion communication and knowledge sharing across teams. They’re nimble and adaptable."

You should start to make it a little bit easier for your people to navigate the organization - because it's huge!
