I feel like screaming. As if the pandemic and stifling 114 degree weather wasn’t bad enough, I just found out that I have a fracture in my left arm! Luckily for me there’s now a way to scream in style, thanks to a new website from Iceland’s tourism board that lets you record your greatest primal yell and then pump the noise out into the country’s vast wilderness at one of seven majestic locations.
As Fast Company puts it:
“…that means you can scream at Snæfellsjökull, a 700,000-year-old glacier-topped volcano, or Skógafoss, a cliffside waterfall that looks like it came straight off the cover of a unicorn fantasy novel.”
The site is aptly called, “Looks like you need to let it out” and if you are interested in screaming you can check it out or their promotional video below:
All in all, chances are pretty high that you will need to let it out as the global pandemic has made life hard for all of us. 2020 has already secured its place in the history books as the worst year ever and there’s no end in sight. One way or another, we’re all struggling to cope with the new normal. Struggling to handle what’s on our plate. The stress of it all.
Perhaps screaming into the void is exactly what we all need. Especially since this promotion has reminded us that we won’t be traveling to Iceland anytime soon! Ahhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Is screaming into Iceland’s wilderness the Greatest Idea Ever?
