2023 was a landmark year for AI, with tools like ChatGPT, Midjourney, and Character.AI offering radical new ways to interact with technology. Now, as we step into 2024, let’s explore how AI might reshape education.

Currently, most people see AI as a tool for enhancing traditional classroom practices—like helping write lesson plans and grade essays. But its true impact may be far more revolutionary. Think back to the early days of the internet or smartphones. Hardly anyone imagined social media or ride-sharing.

Now imagine tools like Khanmigo teaching students through conversation. Or SchoolJoy helping teachers and students curate highly personalized learning journeys. Then watch as lockstep learning and lectures become obsolete. Class time will be more about projects and discussions than about lessons and assignments.

As 2024 unfolds, the most impactful AI tools will be those that fuel the reinvention of schooling. If you’re curious about AI’s impact on education, follow for more.
