Brunner Wins Best in Show at PRSA Pittsburgh 2021 Renaissance Awards

Agency receives highest score of all award submissions as well as four additional accolades

During a year in which employees worked from home and were challenged to push creativity and strategic thinking to new heights amid insurmountable uncertainty, Brunner rose to the occasion. During the 2021 Renaissance Awards, held virtually on Thursday, January 28, 2021 by The Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) Pittsburgh chapter, winners were announced across more than a dozen categories. From the pool of applicants only one was chosen to receive the event’s top honor, Best in Show. And this year, that recipient was Brunner for its B2C digital campaign on behalf of client Zep, which brought awareness to its leading cleaning solutions among consumers.

“Receiving Best in Show is an incredible achievement for the agency, but this one feels uniquely meaningful as we close our chapter on 2020,” said Jordan Mitrik, Senior PR and Content Specialist at Brunner. “It represents the hard work and collaboration of our teams and clients during a time of tremendous change.”

Each year, the Renaissance Awards honors local organizations, agencies, businesses, and communicators in Pittsburgh for their innovative work across all aspects of public relations and marketing communications.

In addition to Best in Show, Brunner also took home four Renaissance Awards in the following categories:

  • Integrated Marketing Campaign category:
    • The Home Depot Rental Brand Campaign
  • Media Relations category:
    • RWC 2020 Media Relations
    • Bruster’s Real Ice Cream 2020 Media Relations
  • Digital Campaign category:
    • Zep 2019 Brand Launch

“It’s truly an honor to receive campaign recognition across four of our amazing clients,” Mitrik continued. “It shows just how agile our teams are and our unending commitment to delivering value and growing our clients’ business.”
