With bold leadership and dedication, Michael Brunner — Brunner’s founder — has led the company to huge successes over the years, culminating in his recent win as an inductee to the American Advertising Federation (AAF) Pittsburgh’s 2022 Hall of Fame. And we couldn’t think of anyone more deserving than Michael. More than 30 years after its inception, Brunner remains one of the top 100 independent advertising agencies in the country and a key reason for that success is Michael.

“I am honored to be listed not only as an inductee for the American Advertising Federation Hall of Fame Award but also to be listed with so many other talented winners here in Pittsburgh,” Michael said.

Last December, after more than four decades in the advertising business, Michael announced his retirement as chairman and CEO of his namesake agency. His goal had always been to make Brunner one of the best advertising agencies in the country, and with Michael’s foundational leadership and drive, Brunner continues to thrive and grow with that goal in mind. Now, Michael continues to serve the company in a chairman emeritus role, providing valuable insight and guidance along the way.

AAF is the oldest and largest advertising trade association in the county, and this award is the ultimate form of recognition, honoring legends who have significantly and uniquely contributed to the industry.
