A major change for the industry was the move to the software as a service (SaaS) model, often referred to as “the cloud.” To bring D4D to Intuit, Cook turned to a gifted in-house design director, Kaaren Hanson. Hanson, in turn, put together a team of nine people to help her. The core team also evolves the design language.
