Lessons from the last Global Financial Crisis (2007-2009) were that financial institutions are putting more emphasis on liquidity and risk premiums in order to create a financial stable economy and society. Climate-friendly investments have however longer payback periods and are therefore less liquid. A higher risk premium is needed. .
